Getting started

Primaera brings clinical care, nutrition and ongoing support into one considered approach. You begin with a short, structured assessment online, then meet a registered Australian clinician by secure video. Where it is clinically appropriate, your clinician shapes a program around your sleep, your nutrition and your routine, then reviews it over time.

No referral is needed to book an initial consultation. It is sensible to keep your GP informed about your care, and with your consent we can help coordinate so everyone involved stays on the same page.

Consultations are held by secure video, Australia wide. Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, a referral to another practitioner, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.
Your program

No. A program is only recommended where your clinician considers it clinically appropriate. An assessment does not guarantee a particular outcome, and individual circumstances vary.

Where suitable, a program brings together clinical care, nutrition and ongoing support in one plan. What it includes is always determined by your clinician, based on your individual circumstances.

Care continues after your first consultation. Your clinician reviews how your body is responding and adjusts your program over time, so it stays shaped around you rather than remaining fixed.
Privacy & safety

Your information is handled in line with Australian privacy law and our privacy policy. Consultations are held one to one with your clinician. Your records are kept private, within the limits set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Your care is led by registered Australian clinicians. At the consultation they read your history, sleep, nutrition and routine together.

We do not advertise specific prescription medicines to the public, in accordance with Australian regulatory requirements. Whether any treatment is appropriate is determined by a registered clinician after a consultation.
Ongoing care

Your clinician sets the review points with you. You know what is being reviewed and when. What that looks like depends on the plan your clinician recommends.

Yes. Where a program is suitable, ongoing support is part of it. You can raise questions between consultations.

Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, a referral to another practitioner, further investigation or no treatment depending on your circumstances.

Any repeat is a clinical decision, made by your clinician at a consultation, based on how you have responded. Repeats are never automatic and are not guaranteed.

Consultation and program fees are payable in advance. All prices are in Australian dollars. Fees cover the consultation and program support. They do not cover medicines, pathology or anything you are referred for.

Contact us before your appointment and we will move it. Our cancellation terms, including the notice period and any fee, are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

We are not registered with health funds for rebates at this time. Rebates depend on your fund and your level of cover, so check with your fund before you book.

Yes. Ask us and we will provide a copy of your health record, or send it to another practitioner with your consent. Our privacy policy explains how.

Tell us first and we will work through it with you. You can also raise it with an external body if you would rather. The pathways, with contact details, are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Every program begins with a clinical consultation. Whether a program is suitable, and what it includes, is always determined by a registered clinician based on your individual circumstances.
